Biomechanics and Applied Anatomy

Laura is a movement specialist educated in applied anatomy, gait mechanics and pilates (from a Somatic approach). She has worked with professional dancers, athletes, and people of all ages, in training studios across Canada and Germany since 2005.

Laura has studied anatomy, biomechanics, and various training methods extensively. As a choreographer and dancer, Laura has specialized in understanding and researching movement her entire life.

Working with professionals in dance and theater, she offers classes and one to one training that combines education in gait analysis and remodelling, biomechanics, strength and mobility training, alignment, applied anatomy and injury prevention.
